    I presented my results at Siggraph 2009 in New Orleans.

     

    My main task was to make a computer from the 1960s direct a movie by itself.

    "Programma 101 - Memories of the future" is a documentary about ...

     

    ... the very first personal computer in history called...

    ... Programma 101!

     

    The director wanted to relive the original sensations and highlight the metaphore behind the movie.

     

    To do this, he asked me to make something challenging ...

     

    ... and impressive! So I applied some ...

     

    ... Artificial Intelligence techniques to the Programma 101.

    Briefly: I developed two systems called Director 101 and Automa 101

    Automa 101 is a low cost motion camera control system that interprets the output of Director 101 and shoots the movie

    Director 101 is a fuzzy expert system able to choose the right shot for each scene from the screenplay

    But, there's more then that.
